I honestly had every intention of writing this blog post last month, but somehow the time just seemed to slip away from me. Now with the holidays behind us I thought it was time to play a little catch up…better late than never, right?!
So back in November I was lucky enough to be invited to preview the ‘Hello! Exploring the Supercute World Of Hello Kitty’ exhibit at the EMP Museum before it was actually opened up to the public. Needless to say I jumped at the chance to check at the exhibit and learn a little bit more about my beloved Hello Kitty!
The exhibit was super comprehensive! There was artwork, there was fashion, there was historical information, and there was vast collection of merchandise which even included the very first item (a coin purse from 1975) that Hello Kitty appeared on!
Here are a few pictures that I was able to quickly snap within the exhibit!
My inner half Asian 12-year-old self was totally fangirling the whole entire time!! If you’re a fan of Hello Kitty and have some time on your hands and are in the Seattle area, I would definitely recommend paying the EMP Museum a visit.
Click here if you would like more information on the exhibit.
Cheers!
