I know that this is sort of random and all…but I have been finding myself really drawn to surreal digital photography as of late.

I find it so interesting how an artist can create something so whimsical yet so dark at the same time.  I love it!

So far my favorite image has to be “Journey” by Leszek Bujnowski; which I found a couple of years ago and still love to look at!  I even put it as the background image on my laptop every so often.

I find the little elf with his green hat and umbrella, to the warm lighting inside the wagon, to the tiny little bird on the roof all so very whimsical.  But at the same time there is a darkness to the image…the gray clouds, the visible rain drops, and the obvious long trek the little elf and rhino are undertaking.  I am fascinated by it all!

Another one of my favorites is the photo that I blogged about here last year.  I will make sure to share any future favorites with all of you!
