Like I had mentioned in my previous blog post…I went shopping this weekend and came away with a small accessory haul from Forever 21.

I initially went into the store to look for a military vest (which I was unsuccessful at) and for an umbrella as my last one officially bit the dust and popped inside out for good.

Here is what I walked away with and per some of my subscribers requests I have added direct links:

bowearring

Rose Gold Crystal Bow Earrings $2.80

crossbracelet

Gold and Black Resin Cross Bracelet $1.80

umbrella

Floral Umbrella $8.80

There is nothing like a rather inexpensive accessory haul to make your day better!

Cheers!

While waiting for a good friend to meet me downtown I decided to do a little window shopping. Needless to say “window shopping” turned into “actual purchases”…but I MUST feed my bow obsession.

Forever21

How cute are these little matte gold bows!! And under $3.00 I could totally justify how these would work within my “I am not purchasing anything this month unless I totally need it” budget plan.

I also heard that it was going to be sunny today, which would make it the first day of sun that Seattle has seen in the past 1,000+ days. Naturally, I didn’t have my sunglasses on me, so I decided to purchase these cheapy-throw away sunglasses while at the cash register. At least I didn’t get swayed by the Prada sunglasses I was lusting after while at Nordstroms!

Cheers to “not” spending money!

I thought it was high time I do a quick little OOTD post!

I spent a majority of my day with a bunch of friends, so I wanted to be super comfortable while running around in the rainy weather.

OOTD

I am sporting my cream lace scarf from Urban Outtiftters, my Denim Old Navy Jacket, a Heart Sweater purchased from Forever 21, Black Leggings from Target, and my Pink Rain Boots!

Cheers!

I was out with one of my good friends a couple of weekend ago and picked up all of these fun goodies!

All of these items are from Forever 21…black and white woven polka dot tank, cream and black polka dot tights and then a oatmeal and heather grey sweat shirt.

Can you tell that I think I am going through a polka dot phase?  Even the sweat shirt has black and white polka dot trip at the center back neck.

Well you know I have a map infatuation…so naturally I had to pick up this awesome notebook from Urban Outfitters.

I plan to transfer my language notes into this notebook over the next couple of weeks!!

 Cheers!

Maybe it’s because everyone is becoming more adventurous with pants (bright colors and various patterns) but I am loving all of the panel-blocked pants I have recently been seeing out in the stores!

Check out these awesome color blocked denim jeans from Koral Denim:

I love how these jeans are fun, yet subtle.  I want that green pair like real bad.

And then here are some cute ones I spotted at Forever 21.

So cute for a holiday party…kind of a feminine play on the tuxedo stripe pant.

And then I spotted these on Asos recently!

I have been thinking about picking up these floral ones…they are so cute and would look great tucked into some moto looking boots!  Must buy immediately!

Cheers!

So what did I do over this past weekend?!  Why I spent it haulin!!

Actually to be exact I was hanging out with some friends and ended up coming home with all of the below!

And because I need more nail polish…I got Sinful Colors Leap Frog and Orly’s Rage.  Now I know that both of these polishes are cult favorites…so, I have no idea why I waited so long to purchase these colors?!  Now I fully understand what everyone has been talking about.  I have been rocking the Orly Rage nail polish the past couple of days and I am in love!  It is the absolute perfect shade of rose gold!

And then because I have been loving my Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough As Taupe I decided to get this pretty gold color called Bad to the Bronze.  Seriously, these are great dupes for the Mac Paint Pots and make the perfect eyeshadow base.  And to be honest most of the time I just wear this by itself.  I will probably swatch this out in a future blog post!

Went to LUSH and got my favorite sugar scrub!  Seriously, this is one of the best exfoliators out there and I generally can get it to last 2 to 3 showers.

And then I went to Forever 21 to pick up a few bangles…I love me some arm candy!  This picture isn’t really showing it, but the center bangle is mint green…loves it!

And I have been loving the woven collared shirt trend.  So I picked these up as well when I was at Forever 21.  I predict a few OOTD posts in the near future. :)

Some fun Hue Tights I picked up from Nordstrom’s.  I actually purchased these a couple of weeks ago…but they got shoved into my closet and I totally forgot about them.  I can’t wait to start sporting these on a nice Fall day!

And lastly I was down in the International District and picked up these fun note cards to use as flashcards, some Disney Princess mechanical pencils and these individual razors to use to clean up the baby hairs between getting my eyebrows “did.”

All in all it was a fabulous weekend spent with awesome people!  Here’s to hoping that this next weekend will be even better!

Cheers!

I hate to admit it, but the Fall season is here.

And while I necessarily don’t enjoy the colder weather or the rain, I love Fall fashion!

I have seriously been loving all of the whimsical sweaters I have been seeing in the stores.  Especially the sweaters with single adorable cutesy graphics!

Here is a few of the sweaters that I have been “eyeing” thus far!

Tiger Print Sweater from Forever 21.

Skull Topshop Sweater…available at Nordstroms too!

I love, love, love these two sweaters from Wildfox…the Heart Jumper and the Stag Jumper.

American Eagle Bow Sweater.

Peter Jensen Fox Sweater…available through Asos.

I can totally see all of these sweaters layered over a denim chambray shirt with leggings and a pair of lace up boots!  So frackin adorable!  I want them all!

Cheers to fun fashion!

Seeing that I am officially onto my 7th OOTD post, I thought I should share my typical everyday outfit…or as I would like to call it “the uniform.”

As you can see, “the uniform” consists of super casual and super comfy clothing…perfect for running around on my days off!  Actually, I will be honest here…I wear “the uni” (short for the uniform) to work all the time.  Luckily, my place of employment is laid back and super causal!

So todays uniform consists of a GAP Denim Jacket, Striped Blue and White Racer Back Tank from Old Navy, Heather Grey Cropped Sweat Pants from Forever 21, and then my Nude Converse from Nordstroms.  And then I just had to show you a close up of the back of my hair!

She-blam….its bow time!!

Cheers to comfy outfits and lazy weekends!

As I had mentioned in my last OOTD post…I think it would be fun to share some of my more brightly colored pants in my outfit posts.  So check out these bright cobalt blue stretch twill pants!!!

(GAP Double Button Jacket, PIKO 1988 Black Ruffle Top, Forever 21 Blue Skinny Pants, & Knee High Suede Flat Boots.)

I swear it must have been “bright blue pants day” today because two of my coworkers and I were all wearing bright cobalt blue pants with black tops!  We looked like triplets!! :)

Cheers to fun colors!

In the words of the ever so wise Ms. Britney Spears…

“Opps, I did it again.”

Okay, I just couldn’t help myself!!!

I mean one cannot have to many “bow” like items. :)

Here’s to hoping that this weekend will be bow-tastic!!

Cheers!
